FENTY Beauty by Rihanna Review
We have been trying and testing FENTY Beauty by Rihanna for a number of months now, trying the much raved about highlighters, the foundation, lippy, primer and highlighter sticks… so here it is FENTY Beauty by Rihanna Review.
Currently in Ireland FENTY is only available in Harvey Nichols in Dundrum but as this is a much loved and sought after range I have no doubt at all that this will be soon available in many other outlets.
So we are going to talk about the range in general, the price of FENTY Beauty, the quality of products and talk about the few products from the range I personally never want to be without.
Price point is very similar to the mid priced beauty ranges out there, foundations at €33, primers at €26, highlighters at €29. It is not a drug store price point but it a lot lower than some others and I personally think FENTY Beauty by Rihanna is worth every hard earned cent!…
Ellen, Danielle and I have all tried the Soft Matte Primer, this is priced at €26 for 30ml and one pump is enough for all of our faces. Ellen has a very combination skin type, Danielle can be a bit dry and I am more a normal combination, so this give you and idea of the skins we have tried and tested it on. I have tried it with the FENTY foundation, I have tried it with Mally foundation, Catrice and MAC Pro long wear and I loved it each and every time, it held all foundations in place all day long + it smoothed out my skin for a flawless appearance and it felt fabulous to use. Both Ellen and Danielle tried this under a variety of foundations and said it is their favorite primer ever!.. so we all own out own and if one of us were to run out we’d all be reluctant to share. We give this a 10/10 on everything.
Next up as this would be the next product to apply is the foundation, FENTY have literally a shade of foundation to suit everyone!. How many shades are in the FENTY foundation range I hear you ask? 40, that is how many, from the palest to the warmest tones and everything in between. I have used so many foundations over the years and the one I have always returned to was MAC Studio fix, it just worked, If I wanted full coverage, if I wanted my make up to last all day, if I wanted a gorgeous glamourise full face of make up then my go to was MAC Studio Fix but I think FENTY Foundation is even better than my old fav, I ahve worn this daytime, evening time, for occasions and I am in love, it is perfect! looks gorgeous from the moment I apply it until the moment I remove it. FENTY Foundation. FENTY BEAUTY
FENTY Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation has a lovely soft finish, that looks almost airbrushed, it is super light weight yet it is a true build-able foundation, that can offer all the coverage you might want. If you are slow to part with €33 for a foundation then pop in store and ask for a sample, they are more than happy to supply you with 1, 2 or even 3 different shades for you to try at home.
FENTY BEAUTY Match Stix Matte Skinstick is A magnetised makeup stick in a long-wear, light-as-air matte formula to conceal, correct, contour, and touch up in 20 shades. Ellen loves this, she has used it with all her make up looks this Christmas, it costs €26 (I think) but its fab!
It is safe to say that we are in love with FENTY Beauty
